"The Scratch Lounge" Presented By Our Guest Blogger, Corsa, From "Haute Or Not Pets"

Hi kitties of Cat Chat, it's the fat boy Cody here. I love to hear about new products for cats and so does my Mom. My friend Corsa from Haute Or Not Pets told me about The Scratch Lounge and I purred from excitement! I told Corsa he HAD to appear on Cat Chat and tell my kitty buds from all over the world about this catabulous new invention! I gotta work on my Mom to get ME one of these! So grab your Martini or "Niptini", kick back, and relax and let Corsa tell you why the Scratch Lounge is so great and why Corsa says “ this is  not just the worlds best cat scratcher, it’s purrrrrfect”!!!

1.The Scratch Lounge was an Editor’s Choice winner for Best New Product of 2006.

2.The Scratch Lounge revolutionizes cat-scratch technology, introducing the first 3-sided scratcher, this one-of-a-kind design allows cats to satisfy their instinctual need to nest.

3. The Scratch Lounge will last far longer than other scratchers because of the reversible super-dense honeycomb construction of the pads. The design is so unique; it was issued a U.S. utility patent. Patents are HAUTE!!!

4. The Scratch Lounge is made of recycled material that is also 100% recyclable when you finally do have to replace it (that goes along beautifully with the ‘Going Green’ theme you will see in all the Horn Pets features this week)!!!

5. One size really does fit all, and that is very important to Corsa… he’s a big boy you know!!!

6. And finally, it was designed by Daisy N. McKitty a hard working Calico from the wrong side of the tracks who proved once again, with a good idea and a little hard work anything is possible.

Visit Daisy and the HAUTE humans at Scratch Lounge   to get yours right now, in fact if you order on the Scratch Lounge site you will also receive a fabulous gift with your purchase; a free copy of The Cats of Lamu, The Feral Cats of An Exotic African Island, by Jack Couffer.

Scratch Lounge + The Cats of Lamu = HAUTE

Hey! Cody again! My mom and I were not compensated in any way for this post, we just love "Haute Or Not Pets" and love to have them as guest bloggers on Cat Chat! I gotta work on my Mom to buy me this Scratch Lounge! Maybe if I tear up the carpet she'll get the hint? MOL!

Sounds a great idea. Austin was shredding the furniture, so I got him a HUGE scratch pole. He took to it immediately and now scratches the pole before he scratches the furniture!! Bless lol

Caren Gittleman said...

Hi Carolyn!
Yep I think it is a great idea too. YAY Austin! He is a good boy!
Actually I am very, very lucky...neither of the cats I have had were ever huge scratchers.
Cody gets a little carried away with the carpet but responds beautifully to the word "no". I would like to get him this for some added entertainment lol.

Hi Cody, I wonder whether your mom's carpet is still safe or sound??? Did you manage to make her get you a scratch lounge??? I think you should try to sweet talk her instead of tearing up the carpet as this is a better strategy!

OMC... I love the idea of the scratch lounge... imagine being able to scratch in any position. Pretty great. Thanks for sharing.

Have a great weekend.

pawhugs, Max

That scrather looks great but I'm kinda more intrested (sic) *blush* in that handsome white mancat named Corsa. *blush* Does he come along with the scratcher. Sorry Cody, you know how I feel about you but you introduced us. Gotta go over there and visit him NOW!

Both my kitties love their scratch poles but unfortunately Lucy also loves the sitting room carpet too. I have bought her a flat scratcher and placed it in her prefered carpet scratching
spot. She sat on it and scratched the carpet at the side of it!! LOL!!

That looks similar to one I have and I love it! Great review!!!

Hi Auntie Priscilla, I have been a very good boy! Sometimes when I stretch I get carried away with how good it feels and I start to scratch the carpet and Mom gets mad. I will try your strategy though and maybe she will get me one!
Love, Cody

Caren Gittleman said...

Hi ya Max! yeah that is pretty cool that we big boys could scratch in any position that we want! I like that idea!
Thanks for stopping by!
Paw hugs back at ya! Cody

Wow Cathy!! Boy oh boy, too bad we didn't advertise a CAT HOUSE instead of a scratcher!! MOL, MOL!! You are one finicky, fickle girl kitty but I still love ya! When Corsa is done with ya I'll take his "sloppy seconds!!" MOL!!

Caren Gittleman said...

MOL at Hannah and Lucy! MOL! You know what my Mom did? She bought me a flat scratcher too. Guess where it is now? it sits at the foot of the litterbox and functions as a "litter catcher" when I leave the box! MOL!

Caren Gittleman said...

Hi Brian! If you like it then it is A-ok with me!! Have a great weekend pal! Scritches to ya! Cody

Caren Gittleman said...

Hi Abby! It is! the only better deal would be if you got a date with ME as well! MOL!

Hi there! I've never met a real cat but it looks like cats and their humans have just as much fun as us dogs and our people!

Lovely of you to have popped around to meet us - we are now following you too...

Ps: I'm sure you hate being washed as much as I do - my human decided today that it was time for my bath - now she's planning to post a picture...

How humiliating! I wonder how she'll feel if I posted a pic of her after she's just washed her hair...

Anyway, look forward to reading your posts!

Hi Emilene! You have never met a real cat? Oh I wish you lived by me you could come over and meet my Cody!
We have a dog (a Sheltie) so he could play with your doggies!
Believe it or not I don't wash my cat (yeah that is pretty gross lol) some people do wash them but I never have.
We take our Sheltie, Dakota, to be groomed every few weeks though.
Can't wait to see photos of your bath!
Thanks for following and so glad to meet you!

Caren Gittleman said...

@Mr.Puddy, I won't hold my breath! She seems to get everything for our flea-bag Sheltie first! MOL! But I will calm down.
Scritches to you!

Caren Gittleman said...

@Cat-In-Sydney, I want one too!!! Ooops...Priscilla said I better be nice so I can get one!
