My mother's birthday would have been last week. I lost her in 2000. Has time been really weird for you? in that there are times it seems like yesterday since you saw him and others when it feels like ages and ages? But their birthdays are still special to commemorate and I love how you did it this year for your father.

There are times I feel like I am going to pick up the phone and call him and then I have to tell myself he isn't here. Other times it seems like it has been forever.
